As part of our team of experts, you will help our clients understand rapidly changing customer needs and design solutions for their biggest challenges. What is your role?

As an associate within our customer practice you support our customers in the commercial sector. Your work is organized around projects which always vary in topic, length and team composition. Teamwork will be key to make the projects a success. Next to working with colleagues from your own team, you often work with colleagues from other (international) teams within PwC (such as Strategy&, operations, technology and data analytics).

Typical projects and activities you will work on include:

  • Analyze customer data to understand customer needs and to uncover growth potentials;
  • Write client reports based on your customer and pricing analyses;
  • Organize client workshops to validate your research and to discuss new ideas and next steps;
  • Support the client with selecting technology solutions to help them meet their business goals;
  • Collaborate with client teams across different job levels to understand their needs and help them adapt to the changing (digital) environments;
  • Support the customer team with internal activities such as the organization of social activities or facilitation of learning sessions for the team;
  • Gain extensive sales and business development experience by participating in the pursuits of new business opportunities; 

Who are you?

You are a starting professional with analytical and creative skills. You are interested in a career as an associate for clients within industries such as Consumer Products, Retail, Technology, Industrial Products, Energy, Utilities, Media and Telecom. Just like your colleagues at PwC, you are enthusiastic, ambitious, energetic and you combine a sharp mind with strong communication skills.

You recognize yourself in the profile below:

  • You have completed a master's degree, preferably in an economic or technical field and are looking for a junior position;
  • You have excellent academic results and/or extracurricular activities on your resume;
  • You have the ability/willingness to learn different technologies that can support your daily work as a customer consultant (e.g., Google analytics, Salesforce, social listening tools like Coosto, dashboarding tools like PowerBI etc.);
  • You enjoy analyzing and solving problems in a practical and creative way in environments where technology and digital play a decisive role;
  • You have the ambition to become an industry expert, as well the passion to thoroughly understand a wide range of customer topics;
  • You are interested in (further) developing yourself in sales, customer services, pricing and marketing;
  • You are fluent in English (proficiency in Dutch is a big plus);
  • You are prepared to carry out projects both at home and abroad.
