Your role

As Lead Analytics Engineer you will be playing a pivotal role in the further development and maintenance of our Advanced Analytics framework. The Advanced Analytics framework provides an open, flexible, and secure development and deployment environment. It allows for collaborative statistical modelling, fast prototyping, and data analysis. Advanced Analytics facilitates the creation of business analytics tools (ranging from machine learning, risk, and financial models to simple business rules) and their use across the bank.

You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by assuming business ownership of the bank-wide Advanced Analytics framework and ensuring efficient development, implementation, and maintenance of our analytics models. In your role you will bridge between modelling, data management, application management and software engineering by collaborating with and learning from colleagues in the Risk, Finance, and IT departments.

What will you do?

Advanced Analytics

• Co-lead and steer the development of Advanced Analytics as a bank-wide capability
• Be a business owner of the Advanced Analytics solution
• Coach junior engineers and share knowledge across the organization.

Model development, implementation & maintenance

• Support the end-to-end model development lifecycle (from model prototyping to production-ready models)
• Translating functional model requirements into technical requirements and effective end-to-end solutions
• Delivering production ready code for risk assessment and other types of analytics.

Data quality management

• Support the regular data quality monitoring, and related remediation processes
