As a PMO, you will have a key coordinating role at the heart of the Strategy & Transformation Office. The STO leads?the?exploration?and development of new?propositions?around?customer engagement platforms (Carefree retirement, Selfcare, employee well-being and workforce-related services, Platform participation).??At the same time, it works on developing internal innovation and transformation capabilities to sustain the further development of the company.   

Your impact as Project management officer at NN

As a PMO, you will have a key coordinating role in our team, being responsible for the following activities:

  • Providing PMO support at the heart of STO
  • Acting as the right hand of the MT of STO by preparing and organizing the MT meeting of the STO Team
  • Creating and preparing strategic updates/decks to update stakeholders like BU’s, MT NL, MB and SB, supporting their strategic steering and decision making
  • Orchestrating uniform way of working for interdependencies, portfolio prioritization, risks, issues, changes;  by monitoring and logging risks, issues, changes, action points and guarding deadlines (prioritizing, executing)
  • Aligning with community of PMO’s (admin) in BUs and FU’s and co-working with PMO Strategy NL
  • Ensuring timely reporting on synergies, progress and KPI’s of strategic projects/initiatives together with portfolio manager of STO
  • Managing and coordinating the budgets for the STO department and projects/initiatives
  • Preparing and coordinating of team meetings and (virtual) off-sites, supporting in event planning and organization
  • Providing hands- on support to other team members and strategic projects if needed (“flying squad”)
  • Proactively identifying and executing on improvement initiatives 

Your responsibilities

  • You will work in a small central team in close interaction with the STO MT and their teams and will be reporting to the Head of STO Support, but you will work functionally for the MT of STO
  • A typical challenge in your role is dealing with multiple stakeholders across different BUs. Vital is that you are flexible, have the ability to gain people’s trust and are service-oriented

You have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment. You have strong communication skills, speak fluently Dutch and English and know how to communicate with both your colleagues as well as senior management. You are able to understand cultural sensitivity and you enjoy working in a multi-country setting. You enjoy working in a professional, dynamic and high paced environment. You have a proactive attitude, you are a self-starter and you have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work.

STO Department

The Strategic Transformation Office (STO) leads the exploration and development of new propositions around customer engagement platforms ( Carefree retirement, Selfcare, employee well-being and workforce-related services, Platform participation). At the same time, it works on developing internal innovation and transformation capabilities to sustain the further development of the company.  To strengthen the collaboration across the BUs to support the execution of NL Strategy, a new team called STO Support joins the STO department, to achieve effective NL Strategy execution.

STO Support Team

STO Support is the linking pin and has an orchestrating role towards the workstreams organized across business units and will support decision making processes in MT NL by proving/monitoring the strategic effectiveness and facilitating a uniform way of working (method, process, consistency, reporting) via PMO capabilities. STO Support is a team consisting of 2 Senior Project Managers, 2 Junior Project Managers and a Portfolio Manager. To co-work with other PMO’s and the portfolio manager who covers the STO portfolio and the Strategy NL portfolio you will be part of this team and will focus on STO.

If you prefer the fresh air, you can take the tram or bike and you will be at the beach in half an hour.
